Reiki asks us to let go of the past and to release the negative memories and thoughts of difficult things that have happened to us in times gone by.
And it also asks us not to get so caught up in future thoughts that our quality of living in the now is compromised. Yes, of course we should make plans and set goals. But let us not only exist in the mindset of what may be… as opposed to what is right now.

Reiki also invites us to look deep within to our core essence — to our real and true self. To unmask the layers that may cover our beautiful pure inner bright light that is a connection to our soul and our Higher Consciousness.
